Wedding dress lost on Interstate 84
BOISE - Jim Cherry is on a mission to reunite some precious cargo with its owner.

On Friday, Aug. 10, Cherry found a white wedding dress in the middle of the westbound lanes of Interstate 84.

"It was in a box that had 'Cherished Memories' written on it," said Cherry, who works for the Idaho Transportation Department. "I've called the local bridal shops to see if they know who might own it. No one has claimed it."

The dress was found close to 3:30 p.m. on I-84 between Meridian and Nampa at milepost 40. It is a sleeveless "Sweetheart Gowns" dress, size 12. The bridal veil was found with the gown, which is embroidered with flowers that have pearl-like beads in the center of them.

Cherry suspects the wedding dress fell out of the back of a truck. He'd like to reunite it with its owner.
