New I-84 lanes now open between Caldwell and Nampa
CALDWELL- The Idaho Transportation Department has opened a new third lane in both directions of Interstate 84 between Franklin Road (Exit 29) in Caldwell and Karcher Road (Exit 33) in Nampa.
Final activities, such as sealing the new bridge surfaces along I-84, will be scheduled over the next few months during warmer temperatures. ITD will begin widening I-84 west of Franklin Road in Caldwell this summer.
