Media Advisory: ITD to hold media event at System Interchange
On Thursday June 22 at 8:30am the Idaho Transportation Department will be escorting members of the media to the System Interchange project in Pocatello. During the event members of the media will have an opportunity to:
- Film the final phase of the concrete pour on the new northbound overpass.
- Visit other important portions of the project site.
- Speak with engineers and contractors about the largest transportation project in Idaho at $111.9 million.
Those members of the media interested in attending must RSVP to Justin Smith at Justin.Smith@itd.idaho.gov by end of business Tuesday, June 20th.
This is an active construction site and a release form will need to be signed by all attendees. Proper attire for a construction site is advised - boots, jeans, and weather appropriate clothing.
