Lane closures will begin on US-95 between Oregon/Idaho state line and Marsing this summer
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will repave several miles of US-95 this summer. Work will take place north of the Oregon/Idaho state line. The pavement has deteriorated and needs to be repaired. Repaving US-95 will improve and extend the life of the roadway. Construction will begin on Monday, July 10 and will be completed by early Fall 2023.
During construction motorists can expect:
- One lane to be open at all times.
- Daytime and nighttime work.
- A temporary signal or a pilot car guiding traffic through the construction zone.
- Wait times to be about 15 minutes.
- Speed limit reductions to 55 mph.
