Gowen Interchange eastbound ramps will reopen to traffic Friday morning (Nov. 9)
BOISE - The eastbound on- and off-ramps at the Gowen Interchange will reopen to traffic early Friday morning (Nov. 9), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The ramps will reopen around 2 a.m. Friday. They were closed last week as part of a 6.1-mile interstate rehabilitation project between the Broadway and Eisenman interchanges.
The eastbound onramp at Eisenman Road will close at about 7 a.m. on Friday to finish work on the east end of the project. The onramp is expected to reopen on Saturday. Construction is expected to shut down before Thanksgiving and resume in the spring. Speed limits and lane configurations will return to normal for the winter.
The $12 million project is on schedule to be completed by summer 2008.
