Message board vandalized on I-84 in Elmore County; agencies seek information
BOISE - Vandals damaged a dynamic message board along Interstate 84 near Mountain Home, leaving six bullet holes in the display area that will cost up to $8,000 to repair, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The incident happened Sunday evening on the westbound side of the interstate just west of Mountain Home. The portable message board was warning of the possibility of wildlife in the area.
Anyone with information about the vandalism should contact the Elmore County Sheriff's Department, Idaho State Police or the Idaho Transportation Department.
