Pavement preservation project on U.S. 20 from junction of U.S. 95 to Notus set to begin Tuesday (April 1)
BOISE - A project to preserve and extend the life of the roadway on U.S. 20 in Canyon County, from the junction of U.S. 95 to Notus, will begin tomorrow, Tuesday (April 1), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Traffic will be maintained throughout the project, and no significant delays or restrictions are anticipated. Traffic flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic through any unexpected delays.

During the work, there will be more immediate speed reductions from 65 mph to 45 mph as traffic approaches town from both the east and west side.

The project is due to be completed by the end of May.

Western Construction of Boise is the contractor on this $2.6 million project.
