Work to begin Tuesday (May 27) on American Legion Boulevard in Mountain Home
BOISE - A project will start on Tuesday (May 27) to rehabilitate about 3/4-mile of American Legion Boulevard (I-84B) through Mountain Home, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The pavement rehabilitation will extend the life of the roadway in this section. The road was originally built in 1960, with only periodic improvements since.

The project also will upgrade substandard pedestrian ramps at nine intersections, in accordance with ADA (American with Disabilities) guidelines.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane between North 2nd East Street and North 14th East Street. Motorists will be assisted through the work zone by flaggers at North 2nd East, South 3rd East, North 10th East and North 14th East.

Knife River of Bismark, N.D. is the contractor on this $546,405 project.

The project is scheduled for completion in mid-July.
