Closure on Idaho 55 near Donnelly this afternoon (June 19) through Monday (June 23) for emergency highway repairs
BOISE - Idaho 55 will close from 4 p.m. today (June 19) through Monday (June 23) for emergency highway repairs to fix a sink hole, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The closure is at milepost 130.2, about a mile south of Donnelly. Motorists will be detoured onto Loomis Lane and Old Highway 55.
A small box culvert running under the road failed at Willow Creek, undermining the road and making the closure necessary. The new asphalt for the repairs will be trucked in early Monday morning, and the work should be completed by mid-day.
