Nighttime I-84 lane restrictions expected Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 6-7) between Broadway and Gowen interchanges
BOISE - East- and westbound I-84 will be restricted to one lane Wednesday and Thursday nights (Aug. 6-7) between the Broadway and Gowen interchanges, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The I-84 speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph during the lane closures, which will occur between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. both nights.
The restrictions are necessary for final work associated with the I-84, Broadway to Eisenman pavement rehabilitation project during which six inches of new pavement was placed on the roadway surface in this 6.1-mile stretch of I-84.
The $12 million project was substantially completed in May.
