I-90 eastbound traffic reduced to one lane between Fourth of July Pass and Idaho 3, Aug. 11 - Sept. 1
COEUR d'ALENE - Eastbound traffic on Interstate 90 between Fourth of July Pass and Idaho 3 (mileposts 31-35) will be reduced to one lane for pavement work beginning Monday (Aug. 11), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Crews will grind and repave this four-mile section of I-90 and then replace the centerline.

Speed limit reductions will be in effect and drivers are urged to be cautious when driving through the work zone. Motorists need to watch for traffic control signs, flaggers, workers and equipment when present.

The work is scheduled to be complete Sept. 1.

ITD and the Idaho State Police warn motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties may apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
