U.S. 91 public meetings to be held Feb. 15-17

POCATELLO The Idaho Transportation Department invites the public to discuss the U.S. 91 North Corridor Plan at a series of open house meetings. The events are scheduled for the following times and locations:

  • Tues. Feb. 15, 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Shelley High School cafeteria, 570 Fir St.
  • Wed. Feb. 16, 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Blackfoot City Hall Council Chambers, 157 North Broadway Ave.
  • Thurs. Feb. 17, 4 p.m. -7 p.m. at the Chubbuck City Hall Council Room, 5160 Yellowstone Ave.

The public is encouraged to drop by anytime during the scheduled hours. No formal presentation will be made, however, project officials will be available to answer questions and hear comments on U.S. 91 transportation issues.

As part of the project, ITD and the Federal Highway Administration are preparing a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document for the U.S. 91 North Corridor segment from Shelly to York Road. The meetings will provide citizens opportunities to identify issues and concerns for this segment of the highway.
