I-84 lane reductions near Gowen Road Interchange, through Thursday (Jan. 27)
BOISE - Motorists traveling east- and westbound Interstate 84 will experience periodic lane closures near the Gowen Road Interchange (mileposts 55-58), today through Thursday (Jan. 27), The Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Maintenance work will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Motorists are reminded to slow down through work zones. Rear-end collisions account for most work zone crashes. Following too closely, inattentive driving, failing to yield the right of way and improper lane changes also contribute to accidents in work zones.
