Intersection improvement project at Linden and 10th in Caldwell starts Wednesday (Oct. 15)
BOISE - A traffic signal will be placed at the intersection of Linden Street and 10th Avenue in Caldwell as part of an intersection improvement project starting Wednesday (Oct. 15), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The project also will include concrete sidewalk, Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant pedestrian ramps, curb, gutter, signage and irrigation work.
Portions of the intersection will be closed periodically during the project. Signs will inform motorists of any closures and detour routes. Flaggers will be on hand as needed.
Idaho Sand & Gravel Co. of Nampa is the contractor on this $461,000 project.
The project is expected to finish by late March 2009.
