Reminder: pavement repair to close Franklin off-ramp at mall Wednesday and Thursday (Oct. 15-16)
BOISE - The eastbound Franklin Road off-ramp leading to the Boise Towne Square Mall will be closed Wednesday and Thursday (Oct. 15-16) for pavement repairs, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The ramp will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Electronic Variable Message Signs have been placed on I-84 eastbound prior to the City Center exit and on the I-184 Franklin Road and Connector City Center access just west of the LDS Temple by Cole/Overland to warn motorists of the coming closure.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured eastbound on the Connector to the Curtis Road Interchange, where traffic will then get back on the Connector westbound and get off at the Franklin Road off-ramp.
There will be minor intermittent traffic delays on eastbound Franklin in the area of the on and off-ramp intersection. Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic during these delays.
