Brief lane restriction tonight at Broadway Interchange for repairs
BOISE - Motorists at the Broadway Avenue Interchange will encounter a brief lane restriction tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 18) for guardrail repair, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The I-84 eastbound left lane will be closed and the speed limit reduced to 55 mph from 8 p.m. to midnight, for repair of approximately 50 feet of guardrail damaged last week when struck by a semi truck.
ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
