Advisory committee members sought for Snake River and Southway Avenues Improvement Project

LEWISTON - Individuals are being sought to serve on an Advisory Committee for improvements to Snake River Avenue and Southway Avenues, the City of Lewiston announced.

Advisory Committee members will represent a cross section of community interests and will help the City of Lewiston identify issues, brainstorm options and recommend improvements to Snake River and Southway avenues. The project will improve traffic flow, enhance safety and expand pedestrian access.

The Advisory Committee will meet on Feb. 3 and at two other key times during the project. The location and time of the meetings are to be determined. Horrocks Engineers of Boise is conducting the environmental study for Snake River and Southway Avenues for the City of Lewiston.
