ITD maintenance and construction offices in Sandpoint without telephone and internet service
COEUR D'ALENE - A malfunctioning microwave link has caused a service outage at the Idaho Transportation Department Sandpoint construction and maintenance offices. The offices have been without telephone and internet service for about a week. There is no estimate as to when service will be restored.
Area residents can contact the District One office in Coeur d'Alene at 208-772-1200 for any questions or concerns they may have about winter maintenance operations. Anyone needing information concerning area construction projects can also contact the district office.
For specific information on the Sand Creek Byway project, contact the Transportation Information Office, at 208-265-0897 or drop by the office at 202 N. 2nd in downtown Sandpoint.
The transportation department urges all travelers to check 511 Traveler Services before driving. The latest highway condition reports are available by dialing 511 or going to 511.idaho.gov on the Web or Mobile Web.
