Southbound Eagle Road to be restricted Thursday overnight
BOISE - One lane of southbound Eagle Road near Riverside Drive (near the city of Eagle) will be restricted overnight Thursday (March 19), for the Idaho Transportation Department's Eagle Road Underpass Pathway project.
The lane restriction will be in effect from 8 p.m. Thursday night to 6 a.m. Friday morning whiole crews pour concrete for the pathway.
Work began recently to build a pathway underneath the Boise River's North Channel structure, connecting the Greenbelt on the east and west sides of Idaho 55 in Eagle. This project will construct 260 feet of 10-foot-wide multi-use pathway.
The contractor is planning to complete all concrete work by the end of March, and will have final asphalt paving to finish before the project is complete in late April.
McAlvain Excavation Inc. of Boise is the contractor on this $184,000 project.
