Repairs to close Pancheri Overpass south of Idaho Falls at 6 p.m. today (May 27)
RIGBY ‑ Repairs will close Pancheri Overpass south of Idaho Falls at 6 p.m. today (May 27), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Crews will patch a number of potholes that have developed on the overpass, which connects 17th Street and Pancheri Drive over Interstate 15 south of Idaho Falls.
The overpass is expected to reopen tomorrow at 5 p.m.
Westbound traffic will be detoured along Utah Avenue to Broadway and Skyline. Eastbound traffic will be detoured along Skyline to Broadway and Utah Avenue. The overpass will be closed again on Tuesday, June 2, for deck resurfacing, which is expected to take up to two days.
Motorists should drive carefully and obey traffic signs. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5‑1‑1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on state and federal highways.
