Westbound I-84 off-ramp at Exit 27 in Caldwell to close June 10-11
CALDWELL - Motorists are urged to choose an alternate route, as the westbound off-ramp from I-84 at Exit 27 will be closed Wednesday and Thursday (June 10-11) from about 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
State maintenance forces, with assistance from local contractors, will mill and repave more than 100 feet of rough and rutted off-ramp surface, and the pavement rehabilitation will continue about halfway into the intersection with Centennial Boulevard.
Centennial Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes, and traffic will be guided by flaggers.
Portable electronic message signs will be placed about a one-half mile prior to the off-ramp starting today to warn motorists of the upcoming change.
Western Construction of Boise will perform the rotomilling, and Idaho Sand & Gravel of Nampa will perform the repaving.
