South Boulevard Bridge on U.S. 26 in Idaho Falls to close Tuesday (June 16) for guardrail repairs
RIGBY ‑ The South Boulevard Bridge on U.S. 26 (Yellowstone Highway) in Idaho Falls will close Tuesday (June 16) for guardrail repairs, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.
ITD will close the exit to the one-way bridge on Yellowstone Highway at 8 a.m., weather permitting. The bridge, which carries traffic exiting onto South Boulevard from southbound lanes of Yellowstone Highway, will remain closed until repairs are finished, perhaps by Tuesday afternoon.
During construction, motorists can access South Boulevard below the bridge at 2nd Street. For information on other projects on state highways, call 5‑1‑1 or visit 511.idaho.gov.
