Two eastbound ramps at Meridian Interchange will be closed Monday, Tuesday (June 22-23) nights for re-striping
BOISE - The Idaho Transportation Department asks motorists to expect overnight lane restrictions at the Meridian Interchange on Monday and Tuesday (June 22-23) nights.
  • The eastbound I-84 off-ramp at Meridian Road will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.
  • The eastbound I-84 loop on-ramp, accessible from southbound Meridian Road, will be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.
  • The eastbound outside lane of I-84 will be closed overnight (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) Monday and Tuesday nights.
Signs will direct motorists to enter or exit I-84 at the Eagle Road Interchange during both closures.

The ramps will be re-striped to tie into new eastbound lanes.

ITD is adding a third east- and westbound lane to I-84 between the Garrity and Meridian interchanges. The project is one of a series of improvements in the GARVEE Transportation Program, which uses Grant Anticipation Revenue Vehicle (GARVEE) bonds to expedite interstate improvements.

ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
