REMINDER: Connector ramp at Chinden closed overnight for resurfacing both Wednesday and Thursday (July 29-30)
BOISE - Crews
will work on an Idaho Transportation Department resurfacing project where Chinden Boulevard ends at
the Connector (I-184) overnight on both Wednesday and Thursday (July 29-30).
The existing roadway surface will be rotomilled off the first night, and filled
with about two inches of new asphalt the following night.
The work is expected to begin at approximately 9 p.m. each night and continue through
until 5 a.m. the following morning.
During work the eastbound on-ramp to the Connector will be closed, while
traffic on both Chinden Boulevard and Fairview Avenue will be reduced to one
lane.
Western Construction will be doing the rotomill work, C & A Paving will be
providing the paver and crew, Idaho Sand and Gravel will be providing the
asphalt. ITD forces will do the material hauling and traffic control.
