Idaho 75 notice: preliminary survey taking place on Timmerman to Ketchum corridor
SHOSHONE - Preliminary surveying is starting this week on the Idaho 75 Timmerman to Ketchum corridor to prepare for upcoming design work, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Surveyors have begun work in the section from Timber Way north to the Big Wood River Bridge (near Hospital Drive) this week within Idaho 75 right-of-way. Beginning Monday (Aug. 10), surveyors will be working along private property through the area.
ITD is obtaining the survey points for the Timmerman to Ketchum corridor project to support design and development of right-of-way plans. Timber Way to the Big Wood River Bridge has been identified as the initial point of survey and design work for the corridor.
Drivers are asked to watch for survey crew members and use caution while crews are working along road rights-of-way.
ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
