TRAFFIC ALERT: Chinden seal coat done, crews move to west Caldwell on I-84
BOISE - The seal coat is now finished on Chinden Boulevard. Crews completed work just before the evening rush hour yesterday (Aug. 13). The Idaho Transportation Department advises that re-striping and final clean-up will occur next week during nighttime hours and will not affect traffic flow during the day.

The next seal coat project has begun on I-84 in the nine-mile section between the Sand Hollow (Exit 17) and Centennial (Exit 27) interchanges west of Caldwell. It will continue through Aug. 18. No flaggers or pilot cars are needed at this point.

Traffic on I-84 in that location will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with the speed limit reduced to 35 mph.

Snake River Construction of Twin Falls is the contractor on this $1.4 million project.
