Rest area for I-84 westbound near Idaho/Oregon border to close Nov. 17-20

ONTARIO, Ore. - The Oregon
Department of Transportation will be closing the Interstate 84 Ontario safety
rest area for three days beginning next Tuesday, from Nov. 17-20. The closure is needed to perform
water line repairs. The rest area is just across I-84's Snake River bridge on the
Oregon side of the state line for westbound travelers.
Travelers will need to use alternate facilities in the Ontario area.
The next available I-84 rest area in Oregon is located approximately 42 miles
west of Ontario.
