I-84 traffic alert: Lanes restricted while crews work between Cole and Broadway tonight through Thursday (Nov. 16-19)
BOISE - One lane will be closed overnight on I-84 between
the Cole and Broadway interchanges as crews work tonight (Monday, Nov. 16) through Thursday
(Nov. 19) on guardrail and sign brackets.
The Idaho Transportation Department is widening I-84 between the Cole and Broadway interchanges and reconstructing the Orchard and Vista interchanges to improve traffic flow.
At least one east- and westbound lane will be open from 10
p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
On Thursday night, traffic will switch to a new westbound off-ramp at the Orchard Interchange.
The speed limit on I-84 is 55 mph. Motorists should drive with caution through work zones and watch for trucks and heavy equipment.
