Westbound I-84 lane closed near Orchard Interchange for five nights starting Wednesday (Dec. 2)
BOISE - A westbound lane will be closed overnight starting Wednesday (Dec. 2) on Interstate 84 near the Orchard Interchange. The Idaho Transportation Department is widening the shoulders as part of a project to improve I-84 between the Cole and Broadway interchanges.
The lane will be closed each night from Dec 2-7 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. This work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded that work is continuing on the demolition of the Vista bridge until Saturday, (Dec. 5). I-84 under the overpass is closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. on the weekends. Flaggers will detour traffic using the off- and on-ramps.

The GARVEE Transportation Program has funded design and construction for this project.
