UPDATE: Last night's heavy fog delays girder replacement, pothole repair at Vista
BOISE - Heavy fog delayed the girder
replacement work last night on Interstate 84 at the Idaho Transportation
Department Vista Interchange project. Below
is the revised schedule:
Friday (Dec. 18) near the Vista
Interchange
- Eastbound
I-84 will be closed for girder placement from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Flaggers will direct traffic to exit
and re-enter I-84 using the interchange ramps.
- One
westbound lane will be closed for pothole repair from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m.
Saturday (Dec. 19) near the Vista
Interchange
- Eastbound
I-84 will be closed for girder placement from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Flaggers will direct traffic to
exit and re-enter I-84 using the interchange ramps.
Sunday and Monday (Dec. 20 and 21) near
the Vista Interchange
- Westbound
I-84 will be closed for girder placement from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each
night. Flaggers will direct traffic to exit and re-enter I-84 using the
interchange ramps.
Friday through Sunday (Dec.
18-20) between the Vista and Orchard
interchanges
- Intermittent
east- and westbound lane closures from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for
temporary paving.
ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow
down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding
fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and
dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or
interstate system.
