I-84 eastbound lane restrictions near Garrity Interchange tonight Wednesday (Jan. 20)
BOISE - Motorist should expect the eastbound passing lane (the lane closest to the median) to be closed tonight Wednesday (Jan. 20) on I-84 between the Garrity Interchange and Robinson Road, while the Idaho Transportation Department installs guardrail for work in the median.
Weather permitting; the installation will happen between overnight from 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. tonight. Both lanes will be open during the day.
ITD and the Idaho State Police
caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where
increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to
plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state
highway or interstate system.
