Westbound I-84 will be restricted near Ten Mile overnight Sunday (Jan. 31)
BOISE - The Idaho Transportation Department advises motorists that westbound I-84 will be reduced overnight to one lane near the future Ten Mile Interchange, from 10 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 31) to 5 a.m. Monday (Feb. 1).

The outside lane will be closed while crews build a temporary work-zone entrance just west of the old overpass. The entrance will not be open to the traveling public.

The Idaho Transportation Department is building a new interchange with on- and off-ramps at Ten Mile Road. Motorists should be aware of heavy equipment working on Ten Mile Road and I-84.

The new interchange is expected to be completed in summer 2010.

ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
