Work on U.S. 2 between Dover and Sandpoint will cause minor delays

On Monday, crews will use a backhoe to dig test holes between the bike path and U.S. 2.  Traffic impacts are expected to be minimal.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, crews will make test borings in two Sandpoint locations:  between Fifth Avenue and Cedar Street, and at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Rocky Point Road. Crews will also make test borings along the corridor at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Division Street.

All work is scheduled to be performed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Flaggers will direct motorists and speed limits through the work areas will be reduced.
