Idaho 78 resurfacing near Givens to begin right after 4th of July holiday
BOISE - Idaho 78 will be resurfaced from the
junction of Idaho 55 to Givens Hot Springs, and from Givens to the junction
with Idaho 45, starting July 6. The Idaho Transportation Department advises that once
started, the project is expected to last until mid-August.
The two projects will resurface about 20 miles of pavement on Idaho 78 - 11.5 miles
from the junction of Idaho 55 to Givens Hot Springs, and another 8.3 miles from
Givens to the junction of Idaho 45.
One lane will be maintained in
each direction. Crews will be using a pilot car and flaggers as needed.
Idaho Sand & Gravel of Nampa is the contractor on this $2.6 million
project.
