Indian Valley Road south of Council to be resurfaced this summer
BOISE - About three miles of Indian
Valley Road south of Council will be resurfaced in a project expected to start
in early June. The work may take several months to complete, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.
The 2.8-mile section from the end of
pavement to the intersection with West Indian Valley Road will be resurfaced.
Improvements include repairing areas of distressed pavement, overlaying a
portion of the roadway, and applying a seal coat on a portion of the roadway.
This will improve the driving surface and extend the life of the road.
Adams County is the local sponsor of
the project.
The project is located about 10 miles
south of Council off U.S. 95.
Knife River Corp. Northwest, of Boise,
is the contractor on the $349,000 project.
