Drive carefully in I-84 work zone near Vista this weekend
BOISE - The
Idaho Transportation Department reminds drivers to pay attention to changes in
the I-84 work zone east of the Vista Interchange.
This weekend, a
new construction entrance will be added in the median. Construction trucks will
merge with traffic in the left lanes.
In addition, east- and westbound lanes will be shifted toward the shoulder on Friday
and Saturday nights (April 16-17).
Drivers are advised
to observe the speed limit and pay attention when driving through the
construction area.
ITD is widening
I-84 to four lanes in both directions between the Cole and Broadway
interchanges. Concrete Placing Company is the contractor.
Work is expected
to be complete in summer 2011.
