VISTA: Flaggers to direct traffic overnight as crew paint stripes, shift traffic and modify traffic signals
BOISE - Starting at 9 p.m. tonight (Thursday, April 22) flaggers will direct traffic on the Vista Avenue Interchange at I-84 as Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) crews paint stripes, shift traffic and modify traffic signals.

One lane in each direction will be open on the bridge between Elder Street and Airport Way . All lanes will re-open by Friday at 5 a.m. The speed limit remains at 25 mph.

ITD is reconstructing the Vista Interchange, which will be completed by late summer.

The contractor for the $17.8 million project is Central Paving Co.

ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
