South Twin Falls traffic signal to be activated Tuesday
TWIN
FALLS - The new traffic signal at the intersection of Washington Street and
Orchard Drive on Idaho 74 is scheduled to begin operation Tuesday (April 27), the Idaho
Transportation Department announced.
The signal will be activated and tested for timing and traffic
detection during the day Tuesday. Drivers should be aware that the
intersection will continue to be controlled by stop signs until the signal is
fully activated.
Lane restrictions and short delays may still take place until all work is concluded. Drivers should use
caution through the work zone and be mindful of workers and equipment.
Kleopfer Paving Inc., of Burley, is the contractor for the $225,000 project.
