Northbound Vista Avenue restricted to one lane on Thursday (May 6)
BOISE - Beginning Thursday morning (May 6) crews from United Water will relocate a water line north of the Vista Avenue Interchange. Motorists traveling north on Vista Avenue will be restricted to one lane.
This is expected to be a one-day item, with work scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to drive with care. The speed limit on Vista Avenue is 25 mph.
Construction
in this area is part of ITDs $17.8 million project to reconstruct and improve
the Vista Interchange.
The project is on schedule for a fall 2010 completion.
ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow
down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding
fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and
dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or
interstate system.
