Twin Falls' Perrine Bridge to have lane restrictions for maintenance Tuesday, Wednesday
TWIN FALLS - Traffic crossing the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls will be reduced to one lane Tuesday and Wednesday (May 25-26) for bridge cleaning and minor maintenance, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

An ITD maintenance crew will sweep and wash the bridge deck to remove debris and gravel. Workers also will replace   overhead lights and perform general maintenance. Drivers can expect some traffic congestion and minor delays because of the lane restriction.

Weather permitting, work will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to finish by 4 p.m. both days. There will be a 14-foot width restriction in effect for all wide loads during the maintenance activities.

Drivers are urged to be cautious when crossing the bridge and to watch for crew members and equipment. ITD appreciates the patience and cooperation of those driving through the work zone.

ITD and the Idaho State Police urge motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
