UPDATE: Airport travelers: nighttime delays planned for Vista Ave./Airport Way/Wright Street intersection June 14 and 15
BOISE - Flaggers will direct traffic through the Vista Avenue/Airport Way/Wright Street intersection Monday and Tuesday nights (June 14 and 15). The Idaho Transportation Department will be reconstructing the intersection and preparing to widen Vista Avenue. The work on this intersection began last night, but will take two more nights to complete.

The intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Monday and Tuesday nights between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night.

ITD will make adjustments to expedite traffic exiting the airport.

ITD is widening Vista Avenue and adding curb, gutter and sidewalk. The work is part of the Vista Interchange reconstruction project, which will be completed early this fall.

ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
