REMINDER: Resurfacing near Givens Hot Springs on Idaho 78 will start July 6
BOISE - Idaho 78 will be resurfaced from the
junction of Idaho 55 to Givens Hot Springs and from Givens to the junction
with Idaho 45 starting July 6. Once started, the Idaho Transportation Department says the project is expected to last until mid-August.
The two projects together will resurface about 20 miles of pavement on Idaho 78. The total includes 11.5 miles
from the junction of Idaho 55 to Givens Hot Springs and another 8.3 miles from
Givens to the junction of Idaho 45.
One lane will be maintained in
each direction. Crews will be using a pilot car and flaggers as needed.
Idaho Sand & Gravel, of Nampa, is the contractor on this $2.6 million
project.
