Idaho 75 closed between Stanley and Clayton because of forest fire
SHOSHONE - Idaho 75 closed to traffic this afternoon between Stanley and Clayton because of a threatening forest fire, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The closure is between mileposts 189 and 219. The highway will remain closed indefinitely.
Motorists traveling from the Salmon-Challis area to this weekend's Dali Lama event in the Wood River Valley should take U.S. 93 through Mackay and Arco.
