Idaho 75 reopened between Stanley and Clayton
SHOSHONE - Idaho 75 between Stanley and Clayton reopened to traffic Friday evening, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. Forest Service officials had closed the highway that afternoon because of a threatening forest fire.
Fire-fighting traffic continues to use the route. Motorists can expect intermittent delays and are encouraged to use extreme caution in the fire-suppression area.
As of Monday morning, the fire has consumed 40,500 acres and is 55 percent contained, according to a Fire Management Team member.
