Interchange ramps at Broadway and I-84 closed intermittently this weekend
BOISE - Work at
the Broadway Avenue/I-84 bridge this
weekend will require the reduction of Broadway to one lane in each
direction at the bridge, and will mean the closure of one I-84 off- and on-ramp
at a time through Monday morning. Crews will reconstruct the approaches to the
I-84 bridge and intersections.
The Idaho Transportation Department advises that the work will begin at 9 p.m. Friday (Aug. 6), and go throughout the weekend
finishing by 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 9), just prior to the workday morning commute.
This will be duplicated the following weekend. The ramps will be completely
open during daytime hours on weekdays.
Ramp traffic will be detoured to the Gowen and Vista interchanges during the
closures.
Crews have completed all resurfacing work through the Federal Way ramps and
from the New York Canal to the Ridenbaugh Canal.
Central Paving Co., of Boise, is the contractor on this $556,000 project.
