UPDATE: Broadway ramp work postponed until next weekend
BOISE - Work at the Broadway Avenue/I-84 bridge scheduled to start tonight (Friday, Aug. 6) has been pushed back to next weekend, meaning the interchange and ramps will be open this weekend.
Next weekend, the work will require the reduction of Broadway to one lane in each direction at the bridge, and will mean the closure of one I-84 off- and on-ramp at a time through Monday morning. Crews will reconstruct the approaches to the I-84 bridge and intersections.
Ramp traffic will be detoured to the Gowen and Vista interchanges during the closures.
Crews have completed all resurfacing work through the Federal Way ramps and from the New York Canal to the Ridenbaugh Canal.
Central Paving Co., of Boise, is the contractor on this $556,000 project.
