Lane restrictions expected at Vista Avenue, Elder Street/Sunrise Rim intersection tonight (Aug. 10)
Workers will restrict intersection traffic to one lane in each direction.
Flaggers will direct traffic during the lane restrictions from 10 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 11). Motorists can expect minor delays.
The work will allow crews to prepare the intersection for the final layer of asphalt.
The Vista Interchange project is expected to be completed late this summer.
ITD and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow
down and pay attention when driving in work zones, where increased speeding
fines and other penalties apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and
dial 5-1-1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or
interstate system.
