Bridge construction on Idaho 33 southeast of Victor to start Monday (Aug. 16)
RIGBY - Bridge construction on Idaho 33 southeast of Victor will start Monday (Aug. 16), the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The project is expected to be complete by Christmas.
Crews will replace two Trail Creek bridges and one Moose Creek bridge, constructing one side at a time on all three bridges at once. Work will take place between milepost 151 and 153 in Teton County.
The road will be reduced to one lane, and traffic flow will be controlled by portable traffic signals. The speed limit through the construction zone will be 35 mph.
Motorists can expect delays throughout the project.
Commercial vehicles will be restricted to 12 feet in width.
Drivers should watch for construction workers and equipment, and obey all traffic signs.
