Broadway/I-84 work to cause closures again this weekend
BOISE - Ramp
closures at the Broadway Avenue/I-84 bridge will resume this weekend, starting
at 8 p.m. Friday (Aug. 20) through 5
a.m. Monday (Aug. 23) morning.
Crews will be repaving Broadway Avenue at the bridge from I-84 to the eastbound
freeway ramps. There will be intermittent ramp closures for eastbound I-84
traffic (the on- and off-ramps will not be closed at the same time), and
detours will be set.
While the eastbound off-ramp from the interstate to Broadway is closed, ramp
traffic will be detoured to the Gowen Interchange. When the eastbound
on-ramp to the freeway is closed, traffic will be directed to Federal Way and
on to the Gowen Interchange to return to I-84.
Crews have completed all resurfacing work through the Federal Way ramps and
from the New York Canal to the Ridenbaugh Canal.
Central Paving Co., of Boise, is the contractor on this $556,000 project.
