Maintenance to slow traffic on U.S. 26 near the Wyoming state line starting Monday (Aug. 23)
RIGBY ‑ Maintenance will slow traffic on U.S. 26 near the Wyoming state line starting Monday (Aug. 23), the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The project is expected to be completed by Sept. 9.
Travel will be reduced to one lane as crews install curb along shoulders of U.S. 26 between milepost 393 and 398.
During installation, which improves roadway drainage, motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes, with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone.
Motorists should watch for maintenance workers and equipment, and obey all traffic signs.
